Our talented artisans work hard to perfect the finishes of each project due to the sensitive nature of live metals. The finishes, by nature, will change based on their environment and can be sensitive until they finish stabilizing. Once installed, Forsyth Metal Works will no longer maintain responsibility for the environment our custom pieces are in. Over time once stabilized, they will become less susceptible and sensitive to their environment, but it is critical that these metals are not touched with bare hands due to easy fingerprinting. Our team always wears gloves when completing installs to protect the metals from the oils on our skin. General cleaning products should never be used to clean our products unless otherwise noted. The utmost care should be taken to protect the finishes of live metals please review our Live Metal Product Care recommendations to ensure quality.

We will happily complete any minor touch ups within the first thirty (30) days of installation. It is at the discretion of Forsyth Metal Works to determine what is considered minor.
After thirty (30) days we will charge a minimum $100.00 plus travel fees for any touch ups deemed minor.
A further estimate for more involved touch ups will be calculated once we have the necessary information to determine the extent of the work needed to be performed.
Due to the nature of metal and the natural aging processes of live metals, we can not guarantee that we will be able to touch up all work.
